Southern Cross Health Insurance Increase Breast Surgery Contribution
It is difficult to have breast reduction surgery performed in public system in New Zealand these days.

So far, Southern Cross was the only insurance provider which was contributing a minimal $3,000-5,000 towards breast reduction surgery.
However, from the 22nd of October they are increasing benefit allowances. Southern Cross members on some of the most popular plans will benefit from an increase in cover up to $15,000 per lifetime for breast reduction surgery and an increase in breast symmetry cover to $10,000 per lifetime.
